My twelve-year-old son adores this program, which airs on BBC Kids (especially Stupid Deaths). He sings along with all the songs. He has also enjoyed reading the books, especially Frightful First World War. He has really gained an interest in history from this program. I wish these could be shown in schools.

Hi Bruce,

The 4 Georges sketch is very entertaining but there is one small inaccuracy - George III was the grandson of George II not his son. There should be a fifth man on stage singing:

"As Prince I thought I'd rule them all
Until I was killed by tennis ball
My death is why you hear no tales
Of Frederick, Prince of Wales!"

Also regarding you query about the availability of Horrible Histories in North America, amazon.co.uk sells a box set of episodes for all DVD player regions.

Enjoy your Horrible Histories! -- Carolyn
